ABOUT US

DLAL_USAID_visit7.jpg
With over thirty years of experience in agriculture in the US, Latin America and the Middle East, we provide the expertise, information and analysis needed to identify constraints, design corrective actions and implement effective development programs.

Maxey Information Services helps people understand and connect diverse data points in a way that identifies opportunities, highlights threats, and provides a framework for responding to emerging trends.  Believing in William Faulkner's line that the past is not dead, it's not even past, we study history in order to understand the present.  We review and analyze demographics, identify issues that can have negative social and economic impacts, and propose solutions to problems or ventures to take advantage of new opportunities.  We are particularly interested in rural poverty in the US, Hispanic immigration issues, international economic and agricultural development, and sustainable management of natural resources.  Our primary focus is in finding win/win solutions that have the potential to be sustainable.  We deeply believe in the old abolitionist phrase: "The arc of a moral universe is long but it bends toward justice."
