My Time in Iraq 2008 - 2009
My service in Iraq began in Februay 2008. I had retired from the U.S. Agency for International Development in 2007 and decided in December of 2007 to accept a reappointment as a foreign service officer to serve as a USAID Representative on an Embedded Provincial Reconstruction Team (ePRT) North Babil. The base of operations for ePRT North Babil was Forward Operating Base (FOB) Kalsu. The following links are to my memories of this time through my weekly reports.
