U.S. Citizenship Act 2021
One of the key issues we have been working on in our local 501c3 -- the Marie Maxey Foundation -- is the need for federal support for public schools impacted by irregular migration and the placement of Unaccompanied Noncitizen Children in the Fairfax County Public School system. We want all our children educated but the increased cost of taking on noncitizen students is significant and requires federal support.
Thankfully, the U.S. Citizenship Act 2021 will provide support to schools. Please reach out to your contacts on the Hill (attached is the list of co-sponsors of the bill) to support this important legislation.
