The first Christopher James Goughnour Scholarship was awarded on September 1, 2020.  Please see links below to see the award announcement and the essays submitted by the five finalists.  A $500 award was made to Maryann Calderon.  A $50 honorarium was given to the other four finalists.  Their stories and the struggles they are overcoming to further their education are inspiring and set an example of service and dedication that honors Chris' memory.
